About

In the spring of 1950, Interstate Batteries began selling automotive batteries to retailers in Dallas-Fort Worth from the back of a Studebaker pickup. A pioneer in the industry, we based our business on high principles: offer the best products, provide impeccable service and treat each and every customer with respect.

All Battery Franchise KitThe Interstate Battery System allowed auto dealerships, service stations, and repair garages to competitively sell batteries even though discount stores were growing in popularity. You could say, Interstate Batteries had found a very powerful new business idea.

In 1978, Norm Miller took his place at the helm of Interstate Batteries.
Driven by his high ideals, Interstate Batteries has created a $1 billion privately held corporation, with over 300 wholesale coast to coast distribution centers that service more than 200,000 dealers in the U.S., Canada, and select international locations.

Today, our vision has grown into an armada of neighborhood All Battery Centers and sales people dedicated to service. So no matter what our customers are looking for-We'll have it. We'll build it. We've got every battery for every need.
