Liberty Tax Service franchisee, Donna Campbell has been involved in the income tax industry since high school. She started her business career working for a CPA. Following her entrepreneurial spirit, Donna became a business owner of several local convenience stores. Unstable conditions in that industry encouraged her to reenter the tax industry, and she attended an H&R Block tax course. Seeking opportunity in the tax industry, a Google search directed her to Liberty Tax Service.
Donna became a Liberty Tax franchisee in the fall of 2004. She relocated from her home state of Ohio to establish her first tax office in Ocala, Florida. As a transplanted "buckeye" she didn't know anyone and had no previous business connections in that area. Thanks to Liberty's marketing guidance, Donna quickly established her tax office. She finished the first tax year preparing 911 returns, ranking her business as # 11 among Liberty's first-year offices.
Wishing to return to her home state of Ohio, Donna cashed in the equity she built in her office by selling her business to a neighboring Liberty franchisee. In January 2006, she opened her second first-year office in the community of Washington Courthouse, Ohio. Once again, Donna produced remarkable results preparing over 1,000 returns … and finished #1 among Liberty's first-year offices.
Using the Liberty Tax business model could she duplicate her success? The answer is a resounding YES! Donna cashed out her equity and sold her Washington Courthouse Liberty Tax office for $140,000. She opened an office in her hometown of Lebanon, Ohio in addition to another first-year office in Wilmington, Ohio. The results: Donna's Lebanon office finished the year preparing over 1,900 returns and her Wilmington office finished the year with a solid number of 620 returns.

What's more, her Liberty Tax locations have hosted sites from fundraising events to help the Humane Society and Cell Phones for Solders. Donna's commitment to her community is further reflected in her memberships in the Chamber of Commerce, Elks and Eagles civic organizations.
